"Update: Last couple of times the quality of sushi has been a little off. Sashimi is thinner than before. Old: Went on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't busy and got seated promptly. Everything seemed clean and well organized. Ordered sushi combo plates from lunch specials and they were delicious."

"They were so accommodating of our large party and we were all able to sit near each other at the same time for hibachi. The cooks were great - Jay and I don't know the others names but everyone was so nice and the food/portions were great too. Their professionalism and organization made it a great place to celebrate our uncles 60th birthday dinner."

"We went to shogun at the beaver valley mall for the first time to celebrate our sons birthday. We were absolutely delighted with our dining experience. The restaurant is very clean, the staff are very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to enjoy our entire meal without being rushed… Lately at other hibachi restaurants it feels as if there’s just food thrown at you and rushing you out the door. Nothing was rushed and you could enjoy your food. Our chef Jay was incredible and so talented and funny! They really put on a show for the guests… It was so fun all of our cheeks were hurting from laughing so hard. It was so nice to find a hibachi place that actually makes it a real experience for the whole family… We cannot wait to go back!"

"This is not my first time in hibachi restaurant but first time in this particular restaurant. The food and the service is good. You can go for either table and hibachi. We selected hibachi. Both of us ordered combination platters. I ordered steak and scallops with noodles. Whereas my husband ordered filled mignon with shrimp and fried rice. All plates comes with clear soup, salad, rice or noodles and vegetables. So quantities all together looks very promising. For both of us the protein is very tasty and well cooked. However they have serious issues with qty. I got four scallops and a small piece of steak chopped into pieces. My husband got the steak too with 5 to 6 medium shrimp. Also I did not see any difference between the filet mignon and ordinary steak. Looks like they have just a single variety. It costs me 70 bucks for 2 people with taxes which I believe is not worthy given the portion of protein served."
