"Classic diner feels. I love the athmosphere. Food was pretty straighforward nothing special but it wasn’t bad. Love the Mashed potato though. Decent price and food portions. Service was 5/5. Our server was friendly and attentive. They have their own parking lot so you don’t need to pay for street parking which is great. They also offer kid’s meals. Overall, I will be back when I am in the area. Highly recommend this place."
"We wanted a no frills relaxing breakfast, and this classic diner exceeded our expectations. A booth with a window facing the railroad tracks, a counter with the local regulars enjoying their morning routine. A nice camaraderie amongst the staff. We ended up with a Greek omelet and the He-Man breakfast and enjoyed generous portions and tasty fare. Originally I was a little disappointed that biscuits weren't a front runner on the menu but I didn't miss them at all. And Beth our server made us feel right at home. Coffee was great, too!"
"Come here most times I'm in Gettysburg. The food is quick and the order is always accurate. Prices are not bad considering McDonald's for 3 can be 30+ dollars now. Staff is always pleasant and cheerful which I would imagine can be tough with how busy it is (see attached photo) Overall, it's a nice way to start the day."
"Recommend the French toast. Omelets, pancakes were fresh and good portions. Even salmon with salad was good at this small town diner. Inside could use some remodeling. Staff were friendly and efficient, but a little too casual. Had some cute desserts at the exit. Tried the mouse cake shaped and frosted like a mouse. Presentation four stars, taste one and a half stars."
"Comfort food in a cool environment. Beth, our server, was awesome. Enjoyed breakfast here. We usually eat breakfast at the Lincoln Diner when in Gettysburg. They serve breakfast all day. The front portion of the diner- looks like the original part- is cute and old school diner-esque. We’ve gotten the French toast, blueberry pancakes, home fries, eggs, toast. All of it was good. Only part that’s not optimal is they don’t do a wait list any longer. You have to stand in the foyer and wait til someone comes out to grab a table. This is maybe a bit crazy on the weekends. Sunday we waited a few minutes. On Monday there wasn’t a wait, and we sat immediately. Very good breakfast so worth a wait if there is one!"
