Reviews
"We had an amazing time with our soccer family last night! The staff were so accommodating and welcoming! Highly recommended!"
"The ingredients were very fresh and cooked well. Unfortunately our cook didn't really know how to season and completely ruined the chicken and streak in teriyaki sauce. The wait staff were very good. The problem with this place is there are hidden fees for things. For starters no one told us that fried rice is an extra $7 per person (steamed rice is no extra charge) . At this place, if you order fried rice, it automatically means you want chicken fried rice. It was even an extra $7 for our 2 year old. Overall experience is nothing special. There is really no difference between this place and any other Hitachi grill. This place seems more of a tourist trap where they find extras to tack onto the bill."
"Made reservations, was seated quickly and professionally. Black Pepper Wings and Potstickers were slightly cold. Hibachi experience was professional, clean and enjoyable. I felt the prices were slightly high."
"Food quality? Very good, but not great. Taste? Very good Portion? Good. There are plenty of options available, sushi of course, steak, Chicken, a couple of different fish to choose from if you want fish ( I like their yellowtail), rice, soups, salads, etc. The best is the server, which actually acts as a chef as well. The process of making food in front of you is very interesting, and even though I have been in several similar restaurants, still interesting to me. The resturant is clean and well-managed, but I expected better decoration to reflect more Japanese culture. ( There are some Japanese restaurants in New York, their decoration and atmosphere are much better) Few negative points: 1- Definitely you need a reservation for Friday to Sunday. 2- You may think the reservation is not a negative point necessarily, the issue is even with a reservation, you have to sit with other people at ONE table, basically, strangers to share your table with. In my case, we sit with 2 other families, a total of 9 people around one table! 3- Price, considering a family of 4, you end up with more than 150$, not including any alcoholic beverages, tips, or dessert."
