"Worst $100 I have ever spent. I was referred to Lucretia Johnson of lpj legal and contacted her last week about an issue I'm having. I was excited to talk to her and see how she could help me. I first texted the number and Crystal called me back. We spoke briefly and she asked me some questions. She told me it would bee $100 for a consultation and we scheduled for Thursday at 11am. I sent over screenshots, emails, and info about my case after signing their agreement. So far so good. So Thursday comes and 11:00 comes. I emailed at 11:03 asking of I was supposed to call or if she was. She ended up calling me 5 minutes late.Then she didn't even have the decency to call from the office. She was out somewhere and called on her cell phone and for the first 5 minutes we couldn't hear each other because of her bad connection. So not only was she late and distracted, but here we are 10 minutes after our scheduled time and we've gotten nowhere. Then as I'm asking questions, she rushing me and giving me short answers or not able to answer. Long story short, she didn't want to take my case. Even some of the stuff I asked, she told me she didn't know the answer because she wasn't that type of lawyer. So now I know why she didn't respect me enough to have a thorough conversation with me. She already had it in her mind that she would take my call, but not my case. But since she took my money already, I guess she felt like what she did was enough to fulfill her obligation. She ends up telling me that she would send me a link to a website by the end of the day to a site that I needed to download some paperwork. Our call lasted 18mins and 7 secs. She rushed me off the phone so fast and I wasn't even done talking to her. I didn't know if she hung up or if her phone was disconnected. Not I know that she hung up. I quickly emailed Crystal back twice and asked her to have her call me back because I still had questions and there was something I didn't even get to mention because the call ended so abruptly. No reply. I called back twice. Once someone answered and then they sent me to voice-mail and the other they said they would tell her. No one has responded. Lucretia Johnson never emailed me the link she said she would. This lady took $100 and couldn't even give me 30 minutes of her time. It was sad to experience her in this way and had high expectations. I couldn't even get the respect of being called on time. She couldn't even be in a quiet place or address my concerns. The whole time I felt rushed. That lady didn't even have the information I sent over in front of her to go over while I was talking. I didn't bat an eye about dropping the initial fee. But now I regret it. I feel like it was a total waste. I didn't get anything helpful from this. And no one has responded back to me since. I would NEVER recommend this firm. Not sure why there are so many positive reviews, but I was treated this way. I thought I would at least have a positive experience whether or not she took my case, but I was totally wrong. I thought that maybe she had an off day like we all do, but to have no reply since says that's how they operate. If you're a potential client reading this review, do what you like, but there are plenty of lawyers in this area. Hopefully you'll find a firm that will give you the results that you want and the respect you deserve."
