"Target in DC is deplorable-should close it’s doors. No shopping carts. No one working in the store. And to make matters worse, half the items in the store are under lock and key-with 0 personnel to help. What a joke!"
"No one is ever at the checkout counter to help. Nearly every time I go here, either my self check-out machine or someone else’s machine malfunctions halfway through, and you have to go track down one of the employees to reset it. When that happens you’re lucky if the staff member doesn’t roll their eyes at you or mutter something under their breath. Target needs to have someone assigned to the counter or at the very least, connect the check-out machines to staff pagers."
"This is one of the best Targets in the DMV. It is always stocked and staff is always working on the floor. Additionally, they have accessible ALL-GENDER bathrooms. This is one of my favorite Targets. Target is such a great place! Thanks Cleveland Park staff."
"Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation. Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically."
"Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back."
