Mama's Meatballs & Pizzeria

"First time to see what all the hype is about. Had the regular mama meatballs and they were good. Definitely will try them in a sub next time. Pizza was delicious as well. Great crust and sauce."

"PHENOMENAL cheesesteak in SJ. Seeded roll on point as is the cheese, onions and meat. Recently moved from south Philly to SJ and we lived near Angelos, this isn’t that far of a cry from Angelos. Certainly is a thousand times better than the fraud that is donkeys place round here."

"We ordered two meatball, an eggplant Parm and a cheesesteak. Also a meatball bowl with spicy meatballs. I enjoyed the rocky Balboa and momma meatballs The spicy meatballs were ok but I was very disappointed that I did not receive my salad or garlic knot that came with the meatball bowl. We were back in our home in Dover when we realized this. We travel back and forth between NJ and Delaware frequently Although we were not blown away by the food I must say the bread was delicious. Reminded me of the Italian bakery when I was growing up."

"It wasn't as spectacular as I expected.( Sorry JL + Delaware online) Everything we purchased and tried was just okay. They did miss our salad. The slices of pizza were mediocre/ average. Eggplant parmesan,cheese steak, Rocky Balboa meatball hogie, and Mama's meatball hogie were all fine. The spicy meatballs did pack a punch. We did love the sharp provolone used on the steak sandwich. For me it is not worth the diversion from the NJTP."
