Sister’s Spot

"I really don’t want to give a bad review but this is my second time trying this spot and I was disappointed both times. The sides were actually okay…….. Baked Mac, greens, potato salad and yams. All seasoned/ sweetened well. They didn’t over do it which is much appreciated coming from a soul food spot. The fish: Had a frozen taste which sucked because it had good flavor. Baked chicken:I would’ve preferred for it to be cooked longer but it was dry so that was confusing. I will say you should try it for yourself because everyone’s palate/ preference is different!"

"This is one of the BEST soul food spots I’ve ever had in my life. I can wholeheartedly say that this place is phenomenal. The fact that this entire establishment from the food to the architecture was made by a hard working black woman is one of the best parts about it. This place is a piece of art. I’m very pleased with my meal. At the price point that I got this meal for, it was 100% worth it. 10/10 IF YOU ARE NOT AT SISTERS SPOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"

"I decided to try something new today for lunch. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by the owner. She was very nice. I ordered fried fish, Collards, potato salad, and a side of Mac n cheese and it came with cornbread. The food was delicious. The mac n cheese was cheesy just how I like it. I will definitely be back with friends."
