"It should not take years for a simple divorce and I am still not divorced. February 2021 found out they put my divorce on hold awhile back because “they claimed I was working with my ex “ absolutely not. I never want to be married to him or with him again. So not sure how they got this wrong information but ok, was told then that they will resend the paperwork out to me to sign that it will take a few weeks. August still nothing, got a letter from the court house they are dropping my case due to no activity in over 2 years. Called they said they will fix it and claimed she had the letter just wants to look it over again then will send it out. The only letter I got was that they notified the courts that they want to continue with my divorce. Since then I have called several times and talked to the nice receptionist who keeps telling me my lawyer will call me back. It is now almost February and no calls. This is absurd. I haven’t been with my ex in almost 6 years. I should have been divorced years ago but no I wasted my money with this office. Do not use them if you want an actual divorce as they won’t do anything."

"Review is a little dated as my custody case was a couple years ago, but something reminded me I forgot to leave a review of my poor experience. My old lawyer was being walked all over and in desperation to not lose my children, I was recommended to Mildred Sweeney. Even in the initial meeting with her, her lack of caring shined through, and against my gut I forked over a 2000$ retainer. After a no more than a half dozen emails and one 30 minute teleconference I decided to throw in the towel and settle my case on my own to finally have closure in my life. Since then I tried for about a year to contact them for the remainder of my deposit and never got a call back once, or any concern shown once. So basically they get to walk away with 2000$ i had to beg plead and borrow to try to fight for my children. Most expensive half dozen emails and teleconference I've ever had in my life. These people want you money, and its really just that simple. Ethical behavior is the last thing on their mind. And before one of them chimes in and says "I have no record of this person being a client," dont buy it, I have the paperwork still tucked away in a folder to prove it."
