"DO NOT GO HERE. AVOID AND ALL COSTS!!! I brought my car in for 4 new tires to be installed and state inspection. They initially told me that I failed because my wipers were streaking and would need to be replaced. I had a new windshield and wipers installed literally two days before so I knew right away they were trying to squeeze me for money. Next they said I had a cross threaded wheel stud. That's really weird because I just did my brakes and I personally put the lug nuts on and know that I did not cross thread them. I really didn't want to continue arguing with the guy so I said whatever what's the cost of replacing the wheel stud??? He said well it calls for 1.6 hours of labor! Are you serious??? Over $225 for a wheel stud??? And what kind of mechanic takes 1.6 hours to change a wheel stud. I told them not to touch my car and I'd pick it up. When I got there, my car had two stripped wheel studs on one tire. And they had the nerve to still charge me for an inspection they never did. So I get home jack my car up and end up replacing 3 studs on that wheel because they cranked the remaining 3 lug nuts so hard and cross threaded another one. Which by the way took all of about 20 minutes... So Mavis basically tries to squeeze you for as much money as they can and they only hire incompetent mechanics that take 1.6 hours to change a wheel stud."
