"We recently took my 2005 Toyota 4runner to Maryland Muffler, as it was the only place local to me that was open. My muffler clamp had fallen off at the resonator, implicating if need either a new clamp or a new exhaust pipe. What we were told is that the entire system had to be replaced, this vehicle was JUST Maryland inspected and passed. We ended up paying nearly $700 for an entire API catback system and found it was pretty poor quality. Welding is shoddy and blotchy, the finish is already chipped and falling off and the paint is running. We could have spent that same amount of money on a high end Borla or Magnaflow system.. Ive checked online and the average price for a simple exhaust pipe is ~$80. I have no idea where the $700 worth in parts and labor went and I'm really unhappy with how this turned out."
