"Much improved. Had a bad experience here a few years ago. Looks like they've redone some things since then. The service writer was very friendly. Took a few extra hours than what they told me, but I've learned to accept that with service centers. Overall, not bad."
"So my issue is the lack of concern for the urgent repair of a customer’s vehicle impairment. And as noted by the other complaints the lack of resolve to increase productivity by implementing a hiring process to get more certified technicians to assess and repair problems. This location has no problem with scheduling a maintenance appointment. However, when the propeller shaft boot tore on my 2022 Sorento while driving it, I could not be seen until February. I made the maintenance appointment the next day and that diagnosis was identified, I was told they ordered the part and it would come in on Monday or Tuesday and that they would fix by the end of the following week. I called on Wednesday to see if the part arrived, it had, no one called, but was then told they could not get me in until December 18th I have travel arrangements during that time. What is a single car owner supposed to do. I am now left with trying to find another dealership to fix a problem that is covered under warranty and I am perplexed as to why this problem has happened. My concern is also that this car was purchased from this location and I expected services to be provided in the community in which I live. Jacob said “ it’s just like when you can’t get in to see the doctor you just have to wait” my come back should have been “and how many folks have died because of that”. I purchased new to have a dependable mode of transportation and received excellent service from my salesman Eric, but the lack of sympathy from this service department for the massive car issues plaguing its owners needs to be addressed and an attempt to resolve the issues by offering incentives, over time, training benefits to the service mechanics to eliminate the load should be considered. One day, this location may find that business is no longer an opportunity because they are unable to meet the needs of the customer. I write because other dealerships understand the needs of their customers and sincerely make an effort to provide excellent customer service."
"Just absolutely terrible. Disgustingly terrible service. I’ve dropped off our new car Atleast 3 times in the last year where it was forgotten about and kept over night just for a recall.. as if I have multiple vehicles and can live a day without going to work, doctors appointments or bringing my children to school. I have reported it again and again to their gm and it keeps happening. There are no other dealerships in the area which makes me a complete prisoner of this horrible dealership. We bought our car from a gm in GA and even if he wasn’t our friend, their service is superior and incredible and always on time.. I hate going here."
"The issue started with Kia of Oxon Hill when I needed A/C repair service. It took 2 1/2 months to get an appointment so by the time I got it in July the warm months were almost over. But the A/C only stayed cold for 2 months so by September it wasn’t working again. So I held off and called Kia of Bowie today 4/20/2023. I could not get an appointment until Aug 23. 4 months to get your vehicle serviced is ridiculous!! How is this possible?? 4 months? My fear is waiting another 4 months and then the A/C only lasting 2 months again. Kia what’s up?? We need answers please???"
