"First time visiting this farm during their first ever Chestnut Roast! It was a bright, cool, fall day. The event was well organized and sold-out. This 700 acre organic farm should be on your local DC area places to visit. It is located 1 hour's drive from DC, near Jefferson, MD. As a learning center, they offer lessons for all ages from farming topics to holistic living. Join their Community Supported Agriculture sales program for quality organic produce."

"I love this place! I have participated in and held my own retreats here. Fox Haven captures the essence of the MD countryside. The homes on the property are country homes with a cozy fireside feel. The people are easy to work with. Near Frederick, MD is a big plus! The people who own it care very much about nature, animals and preservation. I like supporting them. The diary parlor and the barn are great places to hold group events such as meditations, yoga classes, conferences, etc. I highly recommend Fox Haven. Pricing is very reasonable as well.
