"I took my Volvo XC wagon to the Swede Shop for help with a problem no one else could diagnose. I had already spent close to a $1000 elsewhere on repairs that did nothing. I dropped the car off and I had a call from Bram before I got home telling me what was wrong. I was skeptical that it would work given the history of prior repairs but his repair fixed it. Similarly, my brother had a transmission problem on Ford pickup that no one could accurately diagnose and repair, he even had the transmission rebuilt at a cost of nearly $2000. After hitting dead ends with every local repair shop, I suggested he take the truck to Bram. Sure enough, Bram did his research on the issue and was able to diagnose and repair the problem for less than $500. I was initially concerned about bringing my car to a Volvo shop thinking I would get gouged on price but pricing at the Swede shop is always fair and honest. It is nearly an hour trip for me to the Swede shop but it is well worth the extra time to get there. I’m always confident I’m getting a good repair with quality parts and at a fair price."
