"It is wonderful place to Learn about Maritime History."
"Well done interactive historical archive. Only planned 2 hours and easily could use 2-3 more. Tour of the Flagship Niagra made the war of 1812 real to me. Who knew America was so close to being reclaimed as a British colony. But for the brave and selfless sacrifice of the sailors and marines defending our freedoms on Lake Erie."
"If you are in any way a history buff like me, you'll spend a couple hours here. If you're a big naval history person, you'll spend all day here. When docked you can tour the Niagara and really get a feel for what life was like on board. It is still an active training vessel. Imagine about 150+ men crammed on there for battle. The museum itself an amazing overlook of Erie's maritime history."
"Excellent experience and be part of the help to pull the sails. Nice people and boat trip all around. Also learn about the history of the ship and how the sails work. Or you can just enjoy the ride and watch the hard-working people to pull the sails to direct the boat! Highly recommended!"
"Absolutely loved this museum. If you're a fan of naval history at all, you will thoroughly enjoy this place. Very friendly guides and so much to learn about not just the ships but also the history of the area. I have not had the privilege of going on a day sail aboard the Niagra yet but it is on my calendar for next year!"
