"Very understaffed, lots of unnecessary drama and distractions, also wanna note I received a package with food in it, specifically candy from a family member, and I never received it. I believe the staff ate it or sold it to another resident.(they sell candy and sodas for a doller)Also, wanna say props to Quinn, Brittany, Autumn, Dezz, Steph, Stephanie, Dr. M, Scott Colby, and the cook they were great and deserve a raise. Honestly It's not the best experience I've had, and I wouldn't recommend it. Wish I could give no stars, Sobriety Centers of NH is terrible. The pictures are very deceiving, especially for the Laconia location. Took a tour and the Tilton House is disgusting smells like cat piss and looks like a trap house. Again would NOT recommend to anybody. Also I just heard that one of your staff recently went on a meth run with a former client you guys are a joke"
"I have worked for Sobriety Centers of NH - Antrim House since 2019 and left for a few months in 2022 due to previous management. Over the past 6-9 months Sobriety Centers has worked very hard to established a new management team. Since returning to work here in February of 2023 the experience has been fantastic, our mission and actions are supportive of staff AND clients. The team working for these clients have created a space that is safe and effective for the recovery process. We identify the clients individual needs and work with them on creating a recovery plan that works for each individual person. At Sobriety Centers, we treat clients like they are people and not just a number walking through the door. We have created a magical environment for clients who are in the beginning stage of their sobriety and I am proud to work for a program that cares for everyone as much as Sobriety Centers of NH does."
"I had a fantastic experience at Antrim and Sobriety Centers of NH. Food was great. Alcohol Detox is never fun but the nursing staff was awesome. I've been to too many places that I've lost count but this is the best Alcohol rehab program I've been to in NH. Bonus points that it's not 12-Step but they still have AA commitments come in. I don't like sitting in groups all day hearing about 12 step then having to go to meetings."
"My 18 year old son with co-occuring issues was kicked out in January after a few days of being at Antrim for going for a cigarette when it wasn't time for break. When questioning this as it seems like it would be a fairly common occurrence, since they advertise as working with dual diagnosis and most addicts aren't great at following directions, the counselor stated they aren't a mental health facility and would not give him another chance. While I understand that they have rules to follow and dont soley handle mental health, it seems very unlikely that an addict is not going to have some minor set backs after going into rehab the first week. I would think that with their reported holistic and comprehensive approach to addiction, this wouldn't be the first course of action and wouldn't believe it if I didn't hear it. No second chance. Two months later and my son is gone from an accidental overdose. If those struggling with addiction had the ability to follow the rules with no set backs (having a cigarette outside cigarette break times), they probably wouldn't need rehab and I'm curious to know what Antrim's success rates are? If your loved one is struggling, you should probably look elsewhere for a program that works with people with depression and anxiety also because even though they say they do, the counselor said they don't work with people with mental health issues. And I don't know anyone with substance use disorder that doesn't struggle with any issues like depression or they probably wouldn't have started using to begin with. If I knew, I would have looked elsewhere and my son might still be alive. Sad because he said he actually liked it there and maybe if they gave him a second chance or worked with him on why he needed that break he may still be here. Wish he could have stayed longer than 4 days."
"From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported by the entire team. The staff members were very knowledgeable and understanding, making me feel comfortable and confident about my decision to seek treatment. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and I was able to focus on my recovery without worrying about any external distractions. One thing that really stood out to me was the quality of care that I received. The staff members were attentive and caring, always checking on me to ensure that I was doing well. They provided me with the tools and resources I needed to overcome my addiction and stay on the path of recovery. Overall, I highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction. The experience was life-changing."
