"They never plowed. Ever. Was going to an AFTERNOON appt. and think they had had a 'late' lunch.....there was still a foot of snow on ground so they got on my car and decided to rock the car back and forth until I finally banged on window for them to get out of my car before they ruined my transmission. Then because they were ticked, he sent me a certified letter for EVICTION! Do not go near these people!!!! Not professionals. I talked to city of Plattsburgh officials because I was on a busy street and they never shoveled the driveway and handicapped people were unable to navigate without either going into street or getting stuck in snow. The city said they got complaints about them every time it snowed more than an inch....not good landlords!"
"They suck! No type of customer service once ur in a lease. All the gloves are off. You can rent to own ur own damn house for what these people are charging. I learned to record all uof my conversations when dealing with them.which I might add is 100 0/0 legal! Just to protect urself!! Or they will burn u!! Glad i retained a lawyer when the trusted friend advised me to do so!!"
"DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I’m currently in the process of moving out of one of their properties, and I will NEVER return to them again. 1. They refuse to go through a walk through with us and make a list of what needs to be fixed before we move out. It is against the law to refuse a walk through. The landlord must do a walk through with the tenants 1-2 weeks before they move out. I have two days to move out and a walk through hasn’t been done when I requested it almost a month ago. I’ve given them more than 2 weeks notice that I would no longer be staying with them. 2. They refused to show us other properties, when they said we need to make a decision whether we will be staying at that residence or not. 3. Not only have they been completely unprofessional they have been borderline harassing us. They refuse to answer our emails about important questions. I would NEVER recommend renting from these people. They are complete SCUM. They will be hearing from my lawyer."
"They are terrible people. In fact, these people shouldn't even be allowed to be landlords. The apartments are terrible, because they are super cheap and buy crappy appliances that always break, or never even work at all. When anything goes wrong with your apartment, it's takes them at least 3 damn months to fix it. One of my neighbors told the landlords that something was wrong with the fridge in the apartment they were viewing, and they were assured that it would be fixed before they moved in. Well, that couple has been living here for about a year and a half and their damn fridge still hasn't been fixed. It took our landlord 3 months to fix our toilet when the seal on that broke, and recently, the seal on our window has dissapeared. It's been brought to their attention, but I highly doubt anything is going to happen about it. If you are thinking of renting from these people, don't! Run away while you still can. My lease is almost up, and I can promise you I won't be resigning it."
