"This place is a total dump, stay away. Terrible beds, my sheets on the bed were stained from someone's coffee that had previously stayed there. lousy breakfast, needs a major renovation. I describe it as no value paid way too much for this place won't be back, Ever!!!!!"
"The front desk lady was amazing. She seemed a bit overworked as she was the only one there. She definitely deserves a raise. With that being said, everything else was not. Room was not clean at all. It felt unsafe. I would not stay here alone. Stay somewhere else."
"Absolutely filthy this place! The rooms weren't clean at all and there were holes and cracks everywhere. The bed sofa was uncomfortable as hell and the linens had holes. The coffe table was sticky, so we really didn't dare putting anything on it. I also didn't want to take a shower in this place. The ice machine was broken (although I got some at the check-in) and the dryer was too, we had to go dry our laundry at a laundromat. In the case of dryer, there wasn't a sign that it was broken; it just took 2$ and didn't deliver so we had to get a refund, but the lady at the desk couldn't give us one, as this would have to be approved by a manager, so we got them back the next day. All in all: great staff (expcept those cleaning the rooms) and a somewhat breakfast. But the rooms are a dump!"
"Our overall experience was really good. The room was clean, had all the basic amenities. The staff we interacted with during check in and breakfast were really nice and friendly. The breakfast was really good and well replenished. The location is perfect, tons of restaurants around, Walmart is a couple of mins drive, EV charging is in the Walmart complex."
"Its a shame the guest check in desk area is so much better looking than the rooms. The “no refund” is always a concern when checking in. Stayed here beginning of July. It has been a good standby in years past. It has also slowly gone downhill in condition. It was better than camping in 80degree rain; had a place to cool down, TV watch and take a shower. Being a victim of “bugs” in my travels, I thoroughly check everything! I found none or even evidence. There were multiple pads on the bed, but the linens and pillows were pure white clean and smelled of “clean linen”. Yes the furniture looks like it came out of a hotel yard sale, the carpets were stained, and there was a slight odor of smoke from previous people, that you encounter in these older hotels. It’s a shame the investors don’t put more money into this place because it has a great layout and potential. Pricing was a little steep, considering the options locally that give you a lot more for a little bit more money. The resident patrons weren’t too bad, however one was moving to a different room for whatever reason while I was there. She was a smoker as well. The weekly contractors and visitors from the north all seem to have their medical marijuana cards with them evidently, so I just hung in my room. At least they smoked outside the rooms. They did have boat parking for me and an outlet to charge which was convenient. However, the lady(short term resident) with the dogs would walk them next to my truck and boat and urinate on the tires. The lady at the front desk was very polite and professional. Its a place to lay your head if you’re not to picky. I’ll let you judge by the pics."
