"Parking lot sucks. Some d bag tenant near the mailboxes blaring his music so his neighbor can't hear knocking on the door. I just feel bad for the rest of the ppl living there or having to make deliveries there"
"Clean spot for the most part. I would give it a 3 banger but my buddy lives here so I have to down grade it to a 2 banger."
"i heard rent for 1 bedroom was really high close 1000 or little less"
"Do not rent from here, especially if you have a family! They never updated their website so the info is inaccurate regarding floorplans, amenities, owners, and fees. They allow cigarette and pot smoking in the building, claiming they don't.They put up superficial signs stating "no smoking" but don't reinforce it and ignore complaints. There are bugs everywhere. There is a ton of exposed insulation and rusty fixtures. The ceilings crack and leak constantly. There's mold and mustiness everywhere. The second floor is unbearably hot 3/4 of the year and not properly ventilated. There is no way to ventilate it effectively even with an ac (portable or not) or with open windows and fans. The laundry facility has constantly broken coin-op machines (only 1-3 for 2 buildings worth the tenants) and even those with hook ups take them over to get their laundry done "faster". There's also a stray cat colony in the back. Some of the tenants put the cat's soiled bedding in the dryers after rains (the laundry is not clean as a result and everything smells of cat urine and are full of unidentifiable substances quite often). Tenants also bring animals (not permitted), including strays, inside constantly. They have constantly overflowing dumpsters and recycling bins. Drug addicts, drunks, violent people, and problem tenants, along with random trouble makers who do not reside here are a constant issue. There is also a frequent issue with used drug paraphernalia all over the property. The heat and hot water go out frequently in the winter. The buildings are not secure (there are key pads on the doors but no one ever closes the doors. The main office is at Handy's Auto and consists of rude people who ignore complaints and messages, requests for work orders, mess up addresses, and deposit returns. They have defective smoke detectors and 1 extinguisher per floor only on one side of the building behind heavy doors. We had a downstairs neighbor who set things on fire in his apartment and courtyard several times because he, "fell asleep cooking." Nothing was done about this. This man also harrassed and threatened my family repeatedly. Again, we received no help. We also inherited an stove that a previous squatter burnt severely. Parking is full of pot holes that aren't repaired and the lot is impossible to find spaces in because tenants abuse their space allotment, there's no assigned parking, there's no parking pass reinforcement, and there are often abandoned vehicles on the property. The halls and courtyards are always full of people's trash and are filthy. The mail is not secure. There have been many thefts and people frequently break into the outgoing mail box. The buildings get vandalized a lot. The owners (Handys Management) threaten to (or do) raise rents and fees any time there needs to be a repair or replacement of anything. They threatened to raise rent during town sewer repairs claiming tenants were using too much water. Yellow water with a noxious odor occurs in the plumbing constantly. We were told it was due to construction that was temporary. It was a constant issue over the 1.5 years we lived here. Never any warnings either. Yellow tar covers the bathroom walls. The bathroom fans are full of gunk and don't work. Their anwer to everything is to try and upsell a more expensive unit. After living here my family had to throw away anything upholstered because of all the mold and smoke toxins trapped in them and we have just started to recover from health issues caused from this place. We damn near bankrupted ourselves escaping it. They pray on the poor and the desperate knowing there's a housing crisis going on. We luckily got out."
"did not rent, saw the place, was not impressed."
