"Have stayed here a few times and wish I could give 6 stars! Brandon and Susannah are fantastic hosts and fantastic people. The breakfast is always different and delicious. And the Brunswick billiard table in the basement can’t be best as an amenity"
"The Mad River Inn is exactly what we wanted from a Vermont B&B. A fantastic location, glorious view every morning with an excellent warm breakfast, and a wonderful family of innkeepers who run the operation. If you're looking for a cozy, classic Vermont B&B experience, this is it!"
"Our stay at the Mad River Inn was absolutely delightful. The breakfasts were amazing & the rooms very comfortable. You couldn’t ask for better hosts than Susanna & Brandon! Such a beautiful family who felt more like friends. If you’re planning a trip in or around Waitsfield, do yourself a favor & stay at the Mad River Inn!"
"We had a great college reunion here! The hosts are spectacular and the rooms were clean and comfy! They are redoing the bathrooms and the finished products are amazing!! The tea selection is extraordinary, Brandon will make you a bonfire if you ask, and Susanna is a terrific cook!"
"This place is run by some of the most friendly and hospitable people I’ve ever met. I had a bad slip and fall while hiking the Long Trail and severely sprained my ankle. Brandon and Susannah waited for me at the trail head as I hiked down in the dark and put me up in their lovely inn (in one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in) for the evening. Helped me get my gear sorted, find transportation to the airport, and made an incredible breakfast for me and the other guests. I’m back home now and recovering and feeling really grateful for and inspired by their generosity."
