"Great modern brewery. Their IPA is fantastic and a Vermont classic. As for food , we enjoyed their granny Sammy sandwich. Skip the salads. It could use more finesse and seasoning."
"Lawsons is a great new addition to Waitsfield. We went twice during our stay. Once for late afternoon beers and a snack and again for a nightcap. Incredible selection of draft beers. Impossible to be disappointed. We had a table in the sun. On the patio with live music. Very nice. The tap room is also wonderful. Spacious with a bar and plenty of table seating. A must visit if you’re in town. I’m guessing it’s going to be packed during ski season."
"Simple amazing Brewery setup and a beautiful drive to get to it. Tons of space in the layout, seating (inside and patio) + the ambiance is top-tier. Beer is solid too. Oh and there are Level 2 chargers attached to the brewery garage (2x Tesla/NACS & 1x Type 1/J1772). Amazing small details to make a"
"Finally had the chance to visit this brand new facility. It's huge! Like a giant ski lodge. Service at the bar only, and we were there early - bonus points for opening before every other brewery in the area - so service was quick. Nice selection of beers. Yes, there's a lot of IPAs - this is Vermont - but there are other styles, all very well made. Didn't try the food this time, but it looked good. The outdoor seating looked great too!"
"My wife and I visited during a vacation. What a great job they have done with the facility! The layout of the property is fantastic. The indoors is spacious and clean. The food is somewhat limited to "hor d'oeuvres" pairings with your beverage (maybe the grilled cheese and chilli disagree...), but that works since the beer is the star of the show. The beer and atmosphere where great. The side shop where you can buy swag and beer was cool too. I thought the shirt prices were a little high because I am turning into an old man, but I still bought one. :) Fun times - looking forward to visit again sometime."
