"My 6-year-old and I have had a great time attending the family classes here. They're at the right time for me to get off work and bring him, and it's really fun for us to learn and work together. My son can be nervous with coaches he doesn't know, but Jeremy and Cory have a really good sense of what works with kids and he seems very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to other families!"
"Where to start. This is long over due. A good reason for this review. Life takes over. Things get busy and hectic. Sometimes it feels like there is no time for anything else, let alone the pressures and stresses of trying to learn something new. Here at Central Vermont Martial Arts it's different. Sensei Jeremy and Sempai Cory both have a blend of their own style of teaching that's a blend of traditional but also a new style and teaching of Karate. The school is geared to teach all lifestyles and all ages. CVMA is not just a place to train but we also like to have fun. How can anyone learn anything worthwhile if it's not at all fun. There is no rush here for advancement. You learn at your own pace. If you want to advance to a higher level, great. If not, that's ok too. It's about showing up. It's about trying and working hard regardless of your long term goals. We are all here to help each other improve. I practiced Martial Arts years ago but my teacher moved his school and then moved out of state. Years later I wanted to find something that I could compare to my last school but there was lots to consider. Cost, Location, style, etc.. This past August, 2023 I found that school with Central Vermont Martial Arts. The one day of my hectic week that I actually look forward to. I consider my teachers Sensei Jeremy and Sempai Cory and my fellow students another branch of my family. One that's respectful, one that cares and one that honors you as an individual. Thank you CVMA."
"I have not done martial arts in a while and just started with this dojo. Jeremy’s classes are fun good exercise and I believe his teaching style makes it easy to learn the basics and move on to deepen the practice quickly."
"I’m a complete novice and have found CVMA to be the perfect place to start my martial arts journey. Sensei Jeremy and all of the classes are welcoming, supportive, and challenging!"
