Lake Elmore School

Lake Elmore School is a unique and historic institution located at 1199 Vermont 12 in Wolcott, Vermont, United States. As Vermont’s last one-room schoolhouse, we offer a high-quality learning experience for up to 19 students in grades 1, 2, and 3. At Lake Elmore School, we believe in recognizing and nurturing the individuality and creativity of each child, while providing the support they need to succeed.

Our dedicated staff creates a caring and creative environment that emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of every student. We are grateful for the support of the Elmore community, which enriches our school through various activities and contributions. We also collaborate with Morristown Elementary School and the larger LSUU community to provide a well-rounded education for our students.
