"I have purchased ice cream cakes from ice cream man for 15 years but I won’t do it again. My son-in-law ordered a specialty cake for his wife’s birthday and I picked it up on Saturday, July 1. The cake was a huge disappointment. It had absolutely no decorations just the name and happy birthday and, bottom line the cake did not appear to be properly frozen. From the time I left the store to my freezer was proximately 15 minutes. An hour later, we went to enjoy the cake and it was melted . It was a very disappointing melting mess.also for the price it was very plain and quite unprofessional looking ."

"Great ice cream, with a wide selection. The staff are friendly and generally accurate, but the setup allows them to get easily overwhelmed. Still, of the many recent owners over the last few years, this is one of the best incarnations of the shop. I particularly like how their menu shows a picture of each entry."

"The Ice Cream Man has the best homemade hard ice cream in the area! I usually opt for soft serve at other locations but this hard ice cream is just so good. They have a lot of different and unique flavors you won’t find anyplace else, like Almond Joy and Peanut Butter Oreo. Their sizes are also quite huge— a medium is four scoops— and the prices are good. In addition to ice cream in a cone or dish, you can get sundaes, shakes, a banana split, edible cookie dough, and “the Joe.” They also have pies! If you’re looking for a delicious frozen treat, definitely give the Ice Cream Man a try."
