"Getting rental snowboard gear was good at first. My husband even bought a few items that were on sale, such as gloves and socks. We planned a two day rental, on the second day, conditions on Stratton were not good, so we did not stay and board on day 2. Additionally, a good friend of ours, who is an avid snowboarder, mentioned how there was NO wax on my board. As we go to return the board on day 2 at 12 noon, asked for a partial refund on the rental since conditions were terrible on mountain and since there was no wax on the board. Very stern no refund of any kind was the reply. We hoped that since we spent money in the store, on the board and since there were bad conditions, there would be a better focus on customer service. We have a feeling if the owner was there, the conversation would have had a different outcome."

"Incredibly helpful staff! I demo'd skis for three days and spoke to the same staff member each day about what I liked and didn't like. He was helpful in deciding what skis I should demo next and ultimately decided to buy. I'd definitely recommend renting here and if you can come between 9am and 4pm it's especially nice because it won't be as busy!"
