About the Business
Huntington Farm, located at 130 Justin Morrill Memorial Highway in Strafford, Vermont, has a rich history dating back to the mid-1960s when it was founded by Read and Essie Perkins. Initially focused on breeding, training, and selling event horses, the farm also hosted the Huntington Farm Horse Trials. Under the ownership of Ann Kitchel since 1983, the farm has become a leading Dressage and Sporthorse breeding and training program in the country. In March 2021, the farm was purchased by Skylar Clemens, a young farmer and horseman from Pennsylvania who had previously worked at the farm under Ann Kitchel. Skylar is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Huntington Farm and furthering its reputation as a premier institution for equestrian training and competition.
