"Ruth Hogan Poulsen is, without question, the best, most intuitive, compassionate riding instructor anyone could be fortunate enough to ride with. I met Ruth when she was in her early 20’s and I was in my 40’s and started riding with her. She was, even at that young age, incredibly wise and understood the fact that at 40 I was not in the kind of shape that her substantially younger students were. She knew when I’d done all I could do at that point in time and changed the lesson. She was always patient, encouraging and I know, from Ruth, I got the very best start in learning to ride. I recommend Ruth, East Hill Farm and Bespoke Farm without reservation!"
"This farm is so well run! Sarah is a fantastic instructor and all of the horses are cared for in a loving and professional way. I highly recommend East Hill Farm!"
"East Hill Farms is a great place to learn. Beautiful setting, incredible instructors and great lesson horses. Wish I lived closer, but I truly enjoy my trips out for lessons."
"The shows here are so much fun! If you want to get good pictures with your horse, this is the show to go to!! The background is stunning - rolling hills and great foliage in the fall. The shows usually run on schedule! One drawback is the warm-up ring is a little small, but it’s never been a real issue unless someone is also lunging in it. The show ring is not enclosed- not a problem for most, but use caution for true beginner riders if they don’t usually ride outside of an enclosure!"
