The Barra School, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit educational organization located on the serene Waits River in East Corinth, Vermont. Our mission is to help individuals deepen their connection with nature and harness its powers for personal and collective growth, healing, and resilience. We offer a variety of year-round workshops for youth, adults, and families, with a focus on trauma-informed, forest-based therapeutic practices. Our specialty lies in providing immersive group experiences for at-risk youth and other underserved populations.

In 2022-2023, The Barra School will be offering FREE programming for youth, including a summer day camp in partnership with The Blake Memorial Library, weekend overnights, and a week-long immersion experience. Sessions will focus on LGBTQIA youth and their allies, as well as at-risk youth. Registration is now open, and donations are greatly appreciated to ensure that our programming remains free for all participants. Join us in exploring the transformative power of nature at The Barra School, Inc."
