"A lovely atmosphere with great food and service - the old working barn is authentic and provides loads of charm. Daily specials. Drinks specials. Great apps (cauliflower "wings" were a treat). The dining room has a huge fireplace to complete the traditional Vermont feel."

"Really enjoyed my meal here! The ambience outside and inside is cozy and quaint. It is a but dark inside at night, so if you have trouble reading menus in low light, bust out your flashlight. I had the braised beef ravioli, and it was delicious! The cream sauce was just the right amount. The root veggies were roasted perfectly, and the cripsy parsnips on top were a nice touch. The entire dish was well executed!"

"Such a lovely little restaurant. We ate in the Tavern on the back porch. It got crazy busy really quick. My party had buffalo wings and enjoyed them. The waitress did a great job taking into account food allergies - much appreciated. I ordered the Salmon and asked to substitute beets for Cauliflower. Instead I got beets, cauliflower and no Quinoa (which I was so excited to eat). Regardless, the food really tasted excellent. Their maple balsamic vinaigrette is to die for. Despite the few hiccups with put experience (quinoa and a lack of refills on drinks), I would highly recommend this place - just get a reservation in advance, as it's a hopping place!"

"This was our 1st visit to the Barn and we’ll definitely be going back! Beautiful atmosphere, super friendly waitstaff. Wonderful menu choices. Two of us had Crabcakes Benedict. I had the Berry Salad and added butter poached lobster. It was a green salad with candied pecans, feta, blueberries, strawberries and a vinaigrette dressing. I loved it!! We had the mousse for dessert. Also delicious. Mom had a Strawberry Bellini (champagne cocktail), I had a mimosa, the guys had Bloody Mary’s which had a tall slice of bacon in it!! So glad we found this place."

"Food was amazing. Server was personable but detail oriented. Atmosphere was quiet but pleasant dining. Fireplace and rustic feel was very homey feeling. Low lighting added to the ambiance."
