"First, let me say that the provider, Dr. Ridyard, was fantastic as was his Med Assistant/LNA/Nurse (not sure which she was). They were both very friendly. Dr. Ridyard was very knowledgeable, clear, and compassionate. The front desk was a bit rough. My child was referred and as he was 17, Dr. Ridyard was willing to see him despite it being a mainly adult care urology. The receptionist had me wait for about 2 minutes before even acknowledging my existence as she was talking with a coworker about another patients chart. I understand that this was work related, but 2 things: first, simply saying I will be right with you would have been a better experience; second, a different clients chart shouldn't be discussed directly in front of another patient. Since I was trying not to listen, I cannot say that HIPA was violated, but it can be a slippery slope. Everyone deserves their privacy even if it is billing. I shouldn't know another clients name. She also didn't understand how minor should be treated in terms of paperwork. (I understand it is an adult clinic.) However, the other woman who was there should have known better and corrected her. I attempted to correct her and not have my son sign his HIPPA disclosure, consent to treat, and disclosure list. She insisted he sign. His treatment is essentially invalid as he is not an adult and can not legally sign for himself. That was my sole reason for a one star decrease, although if I could have only deducted half a star I would have."

"I was referred to Manchester Urology by my PCP. I saw Dr. Altamar in the Portsmouth office. He was very nice, and quickly put me at ease. He has a very nice way with patients, and explains things thoroughly. The whole office staff was very pleasant."

"My elderly dad was treated there a catheter was put in possible infection Maki g him wait 2 days for removal or test for Uti which in elderly can be dangerous it's irritated and still. 2 days he's 85 major confusion different another possible sign of possible uti ! There risking his health and the stress on my 80 yr old mother doing daily chemo herself ! No one in that practice cared . My dad's still hospitalized since your lousy visit if you had only listened to his family"

When I checked in the person I spoke to was very nice and handled my paperwork in a very timely manner. I was seen by Dr. Munoz 5 minutes early from my scheduled time. Dr. Munoz was very professional and answered all my questions. When I checked out, the person was very nice and scheduled my next visit. I would rate my visit 5 STAR!!"
