"Wait time is reasonable considering the patient load as people with the sniffles feel the need to bog down the already overwhelmed system. The inefficiency of the staffing however leaves room for huge improvement. They need to streamline the process and have one person ask the questions, not 3. Extremely inefficient. They don't utilize the staff they have correctly."
"Be very careful about using this facility. Facilty charged the same amount for a treatment and a 10 minute dressing change two days later. Such a racket. Will not use them again and advise all to be aware of what you are paying for BEFORE you are treated. There are many "flat, facility and provider" fees they can't really explain in the billing department - they just are what they are. Go to your PCP for follow-ups. Learning the hard way that any service connected to a hospital in any way means exorbitant fees even with great health insurance!"
"The staff obviously do not like their jobs. Very non welcoming. Also slow as molasses. If I ran my business like that I would not have a business! On a positive note- I ended up going to ConvenientMD Urgent Care on Loudon Road (after having waited for 50 minutes and being scolded by nurse with an attitude who hated her job) and WOW! What a difference! I had to wait a bit on the front end too but the staff was kind. When I did get into a room the nurse was kind and cheerful. Best of all the Dr was GREAT! Diagnosed my issue, called in the pharmacy right away and off I went. Feeling much better today. Thank you ConvenientMD!!!"
"Went in on November 15 for a swollen lymph node (missed a day of work which I am not paid for) and waited over 2 hours to be seen. Two or three male nurses(?) entered the room just to reiterate what each one had said before (none of them examining me in any way). The Physician Assistant comes in the room and barely touches my neck before saying she thinks it might be my salivary glandS (there was only one side swollen). She then proceeded to google “salivary glands” on the computer in the room and said she wasn’t sure. The visit ended with her saying that if it got worse to go back to the doctor. A month or so later, I get a bill that is three times what my normal co-pay is. When asked to explain it, the billing department said it was a “facility fee” and a “professional fee.” I informed them that neither myself nor my insurance company who I called had heard of those charges before (my insurance, however, said there was nothing they could dispute). In the two calls I made to billing, both reps tried to get me to pay over the phone in an annoying, very non-professional manner that I have never encountered in healthcare and I work in the field. The kicker is that my lymph node issue lasted a few months after the visit (the swelling was gone but it was still tender). I went to the doc filling in for my PCP at Dartmouth Hitchcock and told him what the PA’s diagnosis was. He was shocked and annoyed candy informed me that she apparently didn’t know her anatomy as it was NOT my salivary gland but as I had guessed, my lymph node and that I should have been placed on a course of antibiotics months ago. It gets worse- I mention this misdiagnosis to the urgent care center and am advised to contact the Nurse Manager. She rudely interrupts me numerous times telling me that my aftercare summary advised me to follow up with my physician in a week(!). Not only was I NOT HANDED AN AFTERCARE SUMMARY (somebody dropped the ball on that), The PA had NOT said this to me in any way, shape, or form. I was literally defending my intelligence to this woman. I asked her why nothing had been done at this appointment (why would I wait a week to be treated- this made no sense). She abruptly ended the call. Three calls and voicemails later to Concord Hospital’s “Complaint Department,” and I have yet to receive a response. I am never going there for care again."
"I almost never review clinics or urgent cares, but the respect that Dr. Nahvi showed my four year old with an ear infection, was astounding. He was kind, extremely patient, and communicated with him in a very professional manner before speaking with me, and even let him ask questions in the end. Nobody ever hopes to have to seek urgent or medical care, but I would come back here because this type of treatment. Kindness and patience are free, and it seems this Doctor gets it. Thank you!"
