"Most camping spots in the Grout Pond camping area remain blocked off with snowfence. Pond access for fishing and boat access is open. It appears that many tent sites around the pond are open, based on the occupation I saw."
"Absolutely beautiful area. Perfectly wild. You can just visit it during the day, or find a camping spot and camp overnight (overnight is $16 a night)."
"Grout pond is a nature paradise with a lovely lake, streams, hiking/skiing trails and thick forests. The lake is nice for swimming and paddling, with a hand launch on the north shore. A great place for dogs. It's my favorite spot in this region of Vermont."
"Nice spot but beware of sketchy campers. You get some in park homeless, usually comes with some type of story... they are making us leave because... our stuff got broken into by a bear... perhaps down on their luck, but will rob your campsite blind if you leave anything of value. This is a rangerless spot with limited facilities. Hand pumped water in season. Pay sites along pond, free sites up near loop. Nice place, just watch out for sketchy neighbors..."
