"Great easy hike with lots to look at. There were a couple of climbs, but nothing too hard or steep. So many different mushrooms to see! We also saw 3 or 4 beaver lodges."
"Great trails. A lot quieter than some other local trails."
"Beautiful, quiet park. We hiked all around the pond on the yellow, gold, blue and red trails. The trails are well marked, but there are many blow downs on the red trail. It was buggy, as to be expected at the end of May. The park is a very peaceful place."
"Beautiful place! They were barely any bugs. And there were a couple of cars there but never ran into any of them. My group and I spotted poison ivy many times, with no flags we could have not noticed and gotten it. It would be greatly appreciated if you added posing ivy signs in the most places possible along the trails."
"Gorgeous! We hiked the Orange Trail loop and Red Trail North (Parking on Trout Falls Road for the red trail) Paper maps are available at the trailhead off Padanarum Road - always good measure to grab a map! I really loved the simple beauty of the Orange Trail. Very easy to follow and well marked. I liked that the path wasn't too wide and really flowed with the natural beauty of this area. The trail leads through a beautiful rocky clearing covered with lichen; definitely my favorite part of the trail! There are two boat access areas that I'm excited to bring kayaks to. You'll want some bug spray if you're going to be out on or along the water. The mosquitos are fierce! Worth seeing and re-seeing. I definitely intend to go back."
