"Their epayment process is convoluted. Log into a civic site that is like their intranet site? After finding the link to pay my bill, I was routed to a second site where I could either enter all sorts of billing information or create and account and sign in. Either way this process is not intuitive. It would be more ideal to print the url for the billing page on the statements in the mail (the second url noted above)."
"Charge you to make online payment. Threaten to shut water off if you are late by a month for a payment that only happens every 3 months. Also threaten to put a lien on house. So if you miss your bill in the mail (like I did) or if they're late sending it you get a red letter saying you have 2 weeks to make a payment but really 10 days because it takes a couple days in the mail. Meanwhile the post office is down staff and if someone is on vacation currently getting mail one day a week. Maybe threaten to shut water off after 2 or 3 notices not the first so if you miss one notice in the mail you aren't shafted for life with a credit hit that can nock credit down 200 points?"
