Hague Town Beach Park

Hague Town Beach Park is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located at 9060 Lake Shore Drive in Hague, New York, United States. The park offers public parking and a launch site for boats, with a $20 launch fee for non-residents. Residents with a Multi-Use Sticker are exempt from this fee. The park also hosts a free concert series during the summer months on Wednesday evenings, with concerts moving to the Community Center in case of inclement weather.

The park has a rich history, with its origins dating back to the 1950s when the Town Board sought to provide a beach and park for its residents. The park was named the Robert E. Henry Memorial Park in honor of Mrs. Robert E. Henry's dream of giving a small beach to Hague children in memory of her deceased husband. The park includes a Veteran's Park, located on Route 9N, where an annual Veteran's Memorial Service is held on November 11th.

Elan Planning Design & Landscape Architecture worked with the Town of Hague to design and build the Town of Hague Veteran’s Park, which includes a memorial bell, a memorial wall with the names of veterans, sitting areas, and a memorial sculpture. The park sits along Hague Brook in downtown Hague, serving as a focal point for residents and visitors.

The park also features the Steamer Dock, located on Dock Road, where tourists, supplies, and mail arrived daily by steam ship in the 1850s, launching a hotel boom and the golden age of tourism in Hague.
