"I visited a friend...it seems ok but her room lock was broken THE WHOLE TIME she stayed! The a/c needs attending to and they sisnt clean or vacuum like they should. The room size is good and the location is close to everything."

"After our wedding we stayed here but that was about 15 years ago the room we stayed in man was a very nice room. The room we had this time with so small you had to go outside to change your mind it was right next to the office. The place seemed pretty clean. how do we had a different room that was more of a normal sized this would have been on four Star rating."

"Difficult to find from Berlin exit at night. Easy on line reservations. Friendly check in staff. Getting to room was scary. First open at first floor parking to a hallway with 2 connecting doors. It was dark. Room was FREEZING COLD with the window wide open! At 9pm at night which was below street level so anyone could have been inside waiting. Clerk claimed that the housekeepers must have done that. Uncomfortable and got a chill waiting for heater to warm up. Getting to the bathroom was soo tight I could barely get to it as the door was too close to the seating chair AND the sink was overextended into the doorway! The tub stopper didn't work and all I wanted was to soak after a very long day. TV worked-nice size fridge-nice closet space. Nice decor. Nice mattress. Getting to breakfast was also dangerous. Steep stairs-very dark underground basement. No attendant. Traditional breakfast and waffle self serve. No receipt upon checkout claiming they couldn't give a receipt as it was made on line.I requested one. Really? Bet the IRS checks into that! I did get an online one emailed."

"I'll give this hotel 3.5 stars. We chose it mainly for the price. Montpelier hotels are crazy expensive and this is one of the more reasonably priced ones and is close enough to the city. And I thought we got what we paid for. Breakfast was filling but it's the same fare every single day. The room was comfortable and clean during check-in and had everything we needed (microwave oven, fridge, to name a few). The indoor pool with a hot tub was a nice bonus. There were a few things that were not satisfactory. Some of the furnishings are falling apart and the water from the tap was murky brown one day. I would definitely advise against drinking from the tap. There aren't enough parking spots for all guests so if you arrive late, you'll end up at the overflow parking next to the hotel, which is not well-lit at night."

"Room was modern and clean. Shower head was at about chin level, which was a little inconvenient. Bed was very creaky. Pool and hot tub were nice - staff is serious about pool hours though. Breakfast was very good for being free. There was a waffle iron, bacon, sausage patties, egg patties, yogurt, variety of bread and bagles, coffee, tea, juice. If I'm in the area again, I'd absolutely consider staying here again."
