"This place has new owners - a hard working family. There's a definite uptick in the quality of the pastries offered - there’s a certain heartiness to their pastries now. Every one of the pastries we've tried has been very tasty. They also now prepare unique pizzas - way different from the run-of-the-mill pizza and really good. If you like trying different flavor combinations, these are for you! The pizza maker has a knack for combining different flavors that are really good. Lots of top notch wine and craft beer plus unique local shelf products. Definite thumbs up to these new folks. We're glad they re-named the business since they bought it; that's a good thing since the new operation is noticeably better than the former."

"Best little bakery and provision shop around! Being gluten free can be hard and annoying especially when it comes to baked goods. I love that I can go in and have a variety of options not only for pastries but with the wood fire pizzas as well. Their wine selection is amazing. It’s so convenient to have such good wines locally. Great coffee drinks. Great place to get pastries and cakes for the holidays. The staff is friendly and helpful. All around, it’s our favorite little shop. Keep up the good work :) we love coming in!"

"The grand reopening was excellent! The newly renamed Morningside Bakery WFP&P has similar (the same?) delicious offerings as before the update and even more charm. The space is newly painted, polished, and revamped and it feels bright and clean inside. They kept all the good stuff - local alcohol & ice cream, the best bagels & flaky pastries and made it all feel fresh and new. I haven't had the pizza yet but everyone I talk to in town loves it so it's definitely on the go-back-for list. The folks that work here are so pleasant and helpful. They don't rush you but are ready to take your order and ring you up. Also a plus, at 10am the decaf was still hot! Decaf is so often neglected and cold after a shop's morning rush and I wouldn't blame them if it was, it isn't the most popular. I just assumed I'd take it home and reheat it but no, it was the perfect temp even after I added cream! Magic."

"Good bakery made great by new owners. The vibe is much more positive and they have expanded the food they offer. The much anticipated wood-fired pizza did not disappoint, and has me looking at the menu weekly. I love the addition of bagels, and Friday Harvest pastries! Plenty of other fun little treats to purchase when you are in here as well, Vermont made and not. Overall a great place to stop by and try!"
