"Will not come down your driveway to deliver packages if they do not feel like it. Will then report the package as delivered (when it hasn't), or that a delivery attempt was made (no attempt was made. no notice on the door. was home on day of delivery all day witnessed postal driver put mail in box and drive on and obviously mark my package as attempted.) Once a postal driver dropped my package in the truck (it was found under the seat in the truck the next day) and then marked it as having been delivered. I would give zero stars if i could. Milton Vermont Post office is staffed by lazy, rude, entitled individuals. It's quite possible that one of the staff is a thief."

"I feel like I needed to update my review to accurately document my experience with this office. I will be forwarding a copy to the Attorney General of Vermont, Better Business Bureau and the USPS Headquarters. After a close brush with “racism in Milton Vermont” and having had experienced extreme prejudice from the clerks at this office I am moved to write this review. I opened my post office box when I relocated to Milton I, opened it online in my name adding my husband to the list and I also submitted a family change of addresss. I went to pick my keys up I verified my husband and I proper identities with government IDs and also vehicle registration. Some time had passed and my box rent was due, I paid it online. More time had passed and I went to collect our mail. My box was locked and I was told I had to pay. I told her I paid online and my box was unlocked. Shortly after, my husband requested a deposition from the court to be mailed to my PO box. He never received it and the court hadn’t received it back. On the day of expected delivery I get email notifications so I knew it was to be delivered in my box that morning from the snapshot in my email. I arrive at the post office and they said that it must have got mixed up I was dismissed in a very rude manner. More time had passed and I received a call from my husbands chiropractor and they said the mail was returned, I said I would look into why it was returned. I notified the post office via phone while I was on vacation. I was told that I should’ve asked for a vacation hold on my mail (very rudely). Which I DID before I left and they quickly dismissed me in the office with very bad attitudes toward me. Anyway, during that encounter I was told it was an error. And no mention of the underlying problem. Please note that all of the previous encounters prior to this next event I’ve had weren’t pleasant. Recently, my husbands payroll check was mailed to our PO Box and I received a snapshot of it in my email. We went to our PO box to collect it. We waited until all of the mail was delivered into everyone’s box to find that the clerk hadn’t put that specific piece of mail in our box everything else in the snap shot was delivered. Very calmly I approached the clerk explaining the situation and she summoned another clerk that stated “I know what mail you’re referencing and I was going to send it back” I immediately asked to speak to the post master. Another woman came out and after I asked to see the policy on where the persons listed on my box had to show more than one form of ID she demanded that I lower my voice. I told her that there wasn’t an issue with my voice and that’s how I talk. I asked her if she was the post master, she said no. I asked “where is the post master?” She asked for me to write my number down. I never received a call. I’m the least most confrontational person. At this point I just want to close my post office box and I’ve held a post office box ever since I was 18. I’m hurt that my family, we can’t even collect our mail and it has come to the point that it’s interfering with my personal life. The practices in this office are similar to those of the direct disenfranchisement upon African Americans. I try not to let one set of people determine my outlook on a group as a whole but my family can’t even go outside in Milton. One of my family members has experienced threats in this area from white supremacist yelling hate speech toward her and being thrown objects from cars also in the Milton community. I myself have experienced hate speech in the Burlington community. I just remain very careful and try to protect ourselves but the racism it’s something I haven’t directly experienced until I moved here."
