"The service was prompt and satisfactory. I have a question/complaint regarding the extra oil& filter change that I requested. I have no problem paying for the service as it is not covered for the 15000mi. maintenance schedule, but this little charge of 2.37 "customer pay non-itemized for repair order" seems very much like a hidden fee to me. I'm already paying 78.99 for the oil change. That's not enough?"

He listened to what I wanted and respected my choice without trying to force unnecessary expenses on me or speaking down to me Though he did make helpful suggestions that I appreciate. "Pros- friendly staff, reasonable prices, top of the line equipment. Cons- had to leave overnight for (free inspection) Vehicle was not washed as anticipated. (no big deal) Requested truck to be aligned due to just getting new tires, my old tires wore unevenly, plus their laser garage recommended a comprehensive alignment. ($100 reasonably priced compared to others) Was charged $50 for an alignment check and told I did not need an alignment…… truck still pulls to the right."

"Caleb Longe was the service advisor assigned to my visit on 11/15/23. He was a breath of fresh air from all my previous maintenance visits. He cleaned up some long standing administrative errors like telephone number, home address and maintenance warranty dates. He repeated what services were needed, did not try to add on other services that were not needed like a 15,000 miles inspection on a 14 month old car with 7023 miles. He actually came back to the waiting room to let me know how maintenance was progressing, then we reviewed and examined the performed maintenance and I payed at his station instead of being shuttled to another pay station. AND lastly because of previous not so good experiences I was so impressed with Caleb's attention to detail I left my wallet on the counter at his station ( a first for me) and he immediately called me to let me know he had the wallet. I am not sure what changed at Heritage Toyota but I have been reluctant to recommend the SERVICE department. The sales department and my experience with Matt Messenger has always been positive. SO I would say visit Matt but beware the service department is lacking in many areas. I know it would be impossible to request Caleb for each visit but at least he should train any new employee. Thank You Caleb Longe for making this visit a positive experience.
