"Unfortunately, the guy who owns this place is a miserable little cuss, by contrast to the rest of the family, who are each wonderful. He's arrogant and disrespectful, seems indifferent to customer service. He doesn't know how to talk to people, acting like he's doing you a favor just for him being there. I don't suffer arrogant weasels gladly. It's too bad he doesn't just stay in the back room, where his scowl and surly attitude aren't on display."

"This store is amazing. Not only can you get gas but you can also get some of the best Authentic Indian food around. Growing up in NYC some of the best places to get Indian food were off the beaten path. This place compares and even exceeds. Loved the food, loved the customer service! Would love to see this place recognized more as it was difficult to know right off the bat that they have awesome Indian food. "We have been to every Indian food place in Barre/Montpelier and this curry was by far the most authentic we have had in this area. The people were very friendly and you get a good portion of chicken that just falls apart when you eat it. The prices are similar to others in the area and for the quality of the food, worth it! Don’t overlook this place."

"Great service and friendly people. Clean with great beverage selection. My BLT was amazing. Good bread. My kid loved the chicken curry. I wish I lived near this place, because the butter chicken was really tasty. They had a good place to sit and eat. Coffee was hot and fresh with real half & half. Got some nice post cards. It looks really simple and plain from the outside but it's really something special."
