"We ordered a Copeland Linn Bed. When it arrived after patiently waiting for about 4 months we couldn’t put it together! The hardware to join the headboard and foot board wouldn’t align properly to allow the nuts to go on. We bought the bed through Fullhouse Modern in Vancouver. They dealt with Copeland as Copeland did not return our phone call. Copeland’s suggestion was to bend the bolts so that they fit! Really? For a high quality bed that cost over $3000 this should not be necessary. Our concern was that it could compromise the integrity. Fortunately Fullhouse Modern took the bed back and gave us a full refund. Good customer service there. Obviously this is an issue with this bed that could easily be addressed by the manufacturer. When we were in the Fullhouse Modern showroom earlier in the year we were going to buy the display model but it was discovered that one of those bolts in question had actually pushed though the wood of the sideboards. What a shame. We were really looking forward to having this bed. It is a beautiful looking bed and looks well built in all other aspects. The manufacturer obviously did not put it together before shipping otherwise this flaw would have been discovered. We would have had better luck with an IKEA bed!"
