"Great little trail around the pond. Well marked and taken care of. Very quiet and peaceful in the winter. Highly recommended."
"Cozy and clean campground. Bathrooms at the campsites and the pond. Free hot shower at the pond. Very nice 1mile walk around the pond, sand beach for swimming."
"This is a smaller campsite but nice. As of June 2023, all the sites have new gravel. It was a bit rainy when we camped, so there was a gray muddy clay on everything, but it brushed off easily once it was dry. Sites #2-11, and #13 have shorter, newer growth trees which offered some sun during the day. The rest of the sites are surround with taller trees, so remain pretty shaded all day. If you're camping with a large group (8+ people), sites #17-20 are grouped together off the same small path. The toilets around the campground are pit toilets, but are really clean with freshly stocked toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The facilities by the pond have flushable toilets, and free spray off showers with cold water. There was a camper and car at the volunteer host station, but we didn't see anyone there the few times we tried to make contact. No firewood was sold at the campsite when we were there. And the nearest market closed early. So plan to get firewood before making camp if you get there later in the afternoon. We had to drive to Manchester Center to a 7-11 that was open late to get firewood - about 15 minutes away. There is also a Price Chopper grocery store in Manchester that sold firewood as well. All the sites had fire rings, with a grill top. And a picnic table. We stayed during the week, so there were a lot of open spots, but many of them had reserved signs for the weekend. We brought our two dogs, and it was a great spot for them. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach area or the roped off swim section, but there is a grassy area right next to it with shallow water for the dogs to enjoy. Also a big grassy field across from site #28 for them to run around in. There are a few hiking trails nearby, one is part of the Appalachian Trail, so definitely check it out if it's on your bucket list."
"Lovely! The most perfect campground that we have visited so far. The majority of the spots gives you the “execluded” sensation, nice grill, spacious, water station and restrooms always close. The best part is the little beach and the cute trail around the lake. This is a perfect place for families and couples."
"Lovely campground. Very quiet and private camping sites that bring you very close to nature. The pond is also swimmable but I chose not to go in but a lot of people looked like they were having a good time cooling off from the hot weather in the water. Very family and dog friendly campsite as well with clean bathrooms and showers."
