"This is a river side location suited for launching paddle craft and fishing primarily. There is opportunity for some birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Folks occasionally swim here in the summer and rarely camp overnight. There are no facilities, park equipment or fire pits. Fires are generally discouraged. There is occasional police or game warden presence. Users of the area should pay attention to changing water levels since this location is directly below a hydroelectric dam and water releases happen with little warning. This location is also prone to inundation during spring snow melt and significant rain events."
"Nice view of the town. When we went it was nice and quiet. A good place to relax by the water. Interesting views of abandoned buildings and Billows Falls is a totally cute town worth exploring."
