"We have an adopted son from the State of NH Foster Care system. For the first 4 years our son saw the specialists at CHaD led by Dr. Sand-Loud regarding his ADHD, attachment disorder and other issues. He recently turned 19 which with any other pediatric program, your child would have a few more years receive treatment. Not with CHaD. He was dropped so we asked for a recommendation on where to go next. Dr Sand-Laud’s office never returned our calls, DHMC psychiatry told us they would only see him if his GP or Pediatrician was in their hospital, and when we asked about outside recommendation to another service they actually suggested we google it. So I’ve now spent 4 months looking for mental health for my 19 year old college student and offered no help from the agency the State of NH put us with when we adopted him. I would never recommend DHMC or CHaD because they don’t have your child’s best interest at heart once they become young adults. 7/15/2021 - I have now sent an email to DHMC response to my review through their online process. I will update my review with the resolution to my complaint. 12/05/2022 - Still no resolution. Haven't been able to even get my child's records from Dartmouth sent to another practice. All I have to say is thank god our local hospital did not merge with Dartmouth. I would have had to change our PCP. PROOF THAT LARGE SCALE HOSPITAL ORGANIZATIONS ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN PROFIT OVER PATIENTS."

"Wonderful staff, treatment, and overall care at the Intensive Care Nursery. I couldn't have imagined a better experience at such a scary time. The care team were so communicative and helpful and really went above and beyond to make us feel informed, advocated for, and confident in the treatment being provided for our newborn."

"I found the staff professional and friendly. Explained everything to me and made my child as comfortable as possible. Even provided an iPad for entertainment. Wifi for my phone took awhile to work. While the procedure took place, I visited the cafeteria. Food was good and prices reasonable. I had the vegiterian burrito, tofu, salsa, cilantro in a spinach wrap. Plenty of seating, including outdoor seating. Noticed good views of the mountains from a few of the upper floor windows. Entire place was well kept. Children's wait area my child liked."

"Having been to the pediatrics at Dartmouth Hitchcock, there are no things to complain about other than having to walk through a labirinth of hallways to get to the desired destination. The doctors, nurses and staff have always been professional and courteous. The waiting has never been extensive and the ambiance has been comfortable with appropriate waiting area distractions. There is also available free WIFI which is needed as in many places the cell phone signal is absent."

"My son has been a patient here since Jan 2011. He was just 5 1/2 weeks old and dying. The doctors the staff everyone works together so nicely so compassionately. If not for Dr. Flanagan we would not have our son, He caught everything early, His team did so many many things for us including reassuring and keeping a hysterical mother (me) From completely melting down and losing control . They are an amazing bunch of hard working, dedicated thinkers that actually have compassion and empathy which you do not always find when you need it most. When you are given a choice please always chose here."
