"Yes some of the rooms are out dated and need some maintenance. The price seems to reflect that. However the staff were amazing and a bonus, for someone with celiac disease, the continental breakfast had prepackaged Udis muffins and bagels, single serving Chex and fresh fruits."

"Great place to stay, room was spacious, nice lobby to hang out with games to play with family. A little off the beaten path but great location for folks who want to ski!"

"This hotel is in sad need of an upgrade. The lobby area is nice enough and the grounds and pool are very well kept but the room was shabby, dingy, and broken down. The drawers in the kitchenette didn’t close properly, the kitchen wasn’t really well equipped and the air conditioners, both wall units were not installed properly so that there were gaps around them rendering them useless. We just opened the windows. The breakfast provided was nice and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Really a five star staff. They just need to upgrade those rooms. I shudder to think what we were sleeping on because the whole effect was of carelessness."

"This is a perfectly fine hotel if.......you are not actually looking for a nice room. See pics and judge for yourself. I booked a suite with kitchen on an upper floor. Oh boy, was I disappointed! This place is in dire need of an update. -Alarm clock not set to the correct time -Bed sheets barely on the mattress (poorly made bed) -Broken window opening mechanism -smallest TV I have ever seen -Dishwasher from 1950 -Bathtub with water jets is a joke -Nasty bathroom in general I would stay anywhere else the next time I am in Waterville Valley."
