"Good food and good service. Two separate places to eat. One old restaurant and the other a pub type atmosphere. Same menu both places. Salmon is very good. Very good French fries. The have something for everyone."
"Molly's Tavern is an American style eatery located in New Boston. We were a party of four early on a Saturday evening and were the only ones there when we arrived. We started with the Stuffed Mushrooms which were tasty but the portion was on the smaller side. Three of us had the 12 oz. Prime Rib which was hit or miss but make sure to order the Onion Rings for a side. Two of the plates had a good sized portion which was tender and tasty. The third plates was a smaller cut than the other two and was not as tender or tasty as the first two. The fourth dinner was the Mac n Cheese with Steak Tips. It was a good sized portion. The Steak Tips were excellent and the Mac n Cheese was creamy and delicious. Truly the best dish on the table. The rating for Atmosphere would have been higher if not for the constant cold air wafting by the table. We ate in the restaurant which is a renovated old barn complete with "The Goat Pen" private seating area that can be used for larger parties or semi-private functions. Unfortunately 80% of the seating is located along the outer walls of the old barn which has no insulation. The freezing night air just radiates through the outer walls. To be comfortable we had to keep our jackets on for the entire time we were there. I am not sure Molly's is worth the 30 minute drive it took to get there but if we do go back it will definitely be in the warmer months."
"My 50th birthday my gorgeous boyfriend took me to Molly's. Went there for my birthday when I was 16, and still the best place ever. The server let us dine in the downstairs room which was totally private and the best ambiance, romantic and fun!! The food is and will always be amazing but the server was the highlight of our night. She was kind and was there when we needed and disappeared when we wanted privacy. A real professional server can make a meal, and she sure did. Thanks"
"Great spot. If you're coming from north central MA, great motorcycle ride destination. Love the old farmhouse/barn, tons of natural wood and charm. We sat upstairs in the loft with a big window view to the river out back. Didn't get to check out the music bar in its own building right next to the restaurant but it seemed pretty packed. Food was good, atmosphere and server were great!"
"The tavern and restaurant are separate. See the photos. Our goal was to get good libations with decent grub. We got great drinks and very good fare. The bartender during our visit, Robyn, is very seasoned and experience. She has 16+ years of professional bartending experience. You will be very content and happy with her service. The tavern's take on ahi tuna was perfect for a casual lunch. The burger was cooked just to my order and the BBQ beer cheddar sauce was delicious. The meatloaf had a mushroom bacon gravy, which made it rather wonderful for lunch. The beer selection is small but eclectic and satisfying. We had a Greylock double IPA and a Wormtown Irish Red. You'll leave very satisfied with their local tap selections. Handicap parking is conveniently located. Keep in mind that the parking lot is mostly natural surface."
