"My husband and I got married at the Owls Nest on September 30, 2023 and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and team that worked with us to make our day absolutely flawless! We had a 2 year engagement and worked with Amy the first half and then ended up working with Taylor as our official wedding coordinator leading up to our big day. Amy was amazing and guided us on everything we needed to do and know leading up to working with Taylor. I cannot even come close to expressing the amazing attention to detail that Taylor put into our big day for us. She is one of the most organized, professional, personable and considerate planners ever! She was such a joy to work with and made sure everything fell into place perfectly for our big day. I was not worried or stressed at all on our wedding day because Taylor and her team knew exactly what to do and did it so well! She even knew the best places for photos and was an awesome hype woman! She made sure to check in with us throughout the day and make sure we were on track. She is so quick to communicate and makes decisions effortlessly. We got married at the Lakehouse and it actually felt like a dream. The venue is absolutely stunning and accommodated all of our guests so seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry about food, drinks, napkins or table numbers as it was all offered on site. We also loved how we could stay on site (bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen and family) and a good amount of our guests were able to stay on site and walk to our venue! We made a whole weekend out of. The boys had fun golfing during the day and the amount of on site activities are endless. We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in the Boathouse which is equally as gorgeous as the Lakehouse. Accommodations were amazing and the bar tender, Denise, made sure to introduce herself to me since she would also be serving drinks on the wedding day too. She was so sweet. We also booked a breakfast on site in the sunset pavilion which again, was absolutely flawless. The attention to detail is truly amazing and made our big day and whole weekend so stress free. I cannot recommend the Owls Nest enough for a wedding venue and generally awesome place to be! We honestly feel like we have made a little family here and a lifetime of memories. We can’t wait to go back and visit for our future anniversaries!"

"Staying here for a night on our road trip. Room is nice and clean but noise go through the walls, our next door neighbor decided to listen to music and we could hear all the songs. Across the lake there's a wedding going on with music and people laughing.........I can tell people are happy and relax here but I would like to sleep. Restaurant onsite is good, portion is big. Remember to make reservation though."

"Only played a round of golf. Loved the course and had an excellent experience. Felt like the back was harder than the front with elevation changes and blind shots. Course marshalls were friendly and helped with some playing tips."

"I did not stay at the resort but I played golf at their course. It was an excellent experience and I will definitely be coming back to play again. The front nine is pretty traditional New England golf with the back nine being 100% mountain golf. Tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape with the fairways that were like carpets. We played a day after the course got a ton of rain but it was relatively dry. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only possible thing I could wish for is that there was some type of description for playing the holes. A couple were very tricky about where to play your shot. I can't wait for them to finish their renovations."
