Reviews
"Excellent for a Morning walk or jog. Scenic, flat 3.5 mile loop. Friendly walkers and Joggers, might run into the entitled cyclist from time to time But we'll worth it!"
"Awesome hiking trail! I have been here many times but never knew this was here until recently!"
"I love this trail. I walk. I bike.. I love. When I am on my "Winter's Dream", I am out there on my boat. This is my home in Portland. Maine."
"Always a beautiful place for a walk, run or bike ride. Only downsides are that when it rains, this trail becomes mud since it isn’t paved. There is also a stretch where you run along the highway, which is stinky and noisy. But the view of the bay is gorgeous, and the rest of the trail is worth it (on a dry day)."
"This is an excellent parking lot. Just kidding, it’s a pretty normal parking lot, but the Back Cove Trail and Park are excellent for walking, jogging, biking, stopping for a quick lunch on a bench, and getting a pretty fantastic view of the city. (Especially at night!) The only downside to this area is a lot of the joggers and bikers don’t communicate with those walking and tend to blow by you without warning or even smack into you sometimes. That, and the seagulls are ready to and WILL fight you for any morsel of food you have on your person—but that’s pretty typical of anywhere by the ocean."
