"Sweet little hike, pretty and runs along a brook the whole way. SUPER buggy though. Bring big spray! Good for pups too"
"Great place for a short hike on a hot summer day. Beautiful scenery, and the trail is mostly shaded! I took the blue trail to the yellow trail and then along the stream on the blue trail back to the park lot. The yellow trail has a good uphill portion that gets the heart rate going, at least for me! I think that was about 1.8 miles according to my smart watch."
"Wow! What a beautiful hike! Easy hike after lunch at Alton Bay. Extremely well kept, beautiful scenery, flowing river with winding trail along side....awesome!"
"It was a beautiful place to walk! Someone had recommended it to me and I am glad she did."
"A beautiful, peaceful and all too short hike. About 1.4 mile total on the blue trail, an easy loop. Mostly level with a slight incline at the top of the loop. The trail follows a lovely stream for about half of the hike--- indeed, one of the prettiest streams I've seen, calm in some places, rippling in others. Would be a good hike for families with young ones, or middle aged folks(like me) who aren't in need of an aggressive hike. No one there on one of the most beautiful days of the fall. 4/5 stars only because it needed another mile or two to enjoy. Well done, Lakes Region Conservation Trust!"
