Reviews of Presumpscot River Preserve
"Gentle, relaxing out-and-back hike with absolutely stunning views. The trail is peacefully quiet, save for the pleasant roaring of the waterfall. Dogs are welcomed, as well, and the people passing by are friendly."
"Such a beautiful trail. So quiet and serene. I highly recommend."
"Gorgeous hike along a dog friendly trail. Beautiful views of the river and falls. Got to see a fish feeding in the river with over a dozen large fish and a cormorant trying to dice and eat them. Everyone on the trail was polite and followed the idea of "leave only footprints.""
"This place is amazing. Easy quick hike, great for relaxing walk through the woods. River is beautiful, air is fresh, and there is a small waterfall. Totally worth a visit. It takes around 2 - 3 hours if you take your time exploring, but I bet you can get it done in less than 2 if you just go point A-B and back."
"We just went to take some pictures and spend some time on the river bed. Amazing place hiding amidst the residential area. On our way back we lost our track in the trail and went along the river for quite some time. It was starting to get dark, when we realized that we are not going the right way. With the help of Google maps, we came out of the trail just in time and then it was totally dark. Thank God! Kindly install more sign for directions."
