Depot Laundry

"Just went into the laundromat here today to wash my winter blankets for the winter time. I used the big washer with only two blankets and it had plenty of room left to do probably another two. I think it was 9.75 it cost me. I put pushed for hot water. Nothing came up, but cold. I asked the girl at the window who I did not recognize at all. Definitely was not the other girl that worked in there. The other girl was awesome. I think her name was Diane. She was awesome and it was so clean all the time. But anyway, The new woman at the counter said it’s been out of cold water for quite some time now. if you have any complaints, bring it up to the owner she said. All I do is work here. On top of that it was filthy in there. Wish they would bring back the old owners. It was so clean and he had hot water. If I would’ve known, I probably would’ve made a trip to Jay to do the laundry. Just can’t do it in my machine at home. My blankets are too big."

"We are on the road a lot, living and working in our travel trailer for 5 or 6 months a year, so I've had the opportunity to use many laundromats across the country. Laundry is not my favorite task, and thankfully the added cost of wash & fold is not prohibitive for me. My opinion of the wash & fold service at Depot Laundry: IT'S THE BEST! The staff, the wash-and-fold quality, even the placement of the service window are all excellent."

"The new owners are way better than the previous ones. No longer charge extortionist prices for the laundry machines. Lots of machines have been upgraded, with more of the larger sized machines. I'm pleasantly surprised. They also now take credit cards."

"Laundry was clean. The machines were in great condition and accepted coins or credit cards and there was a coin machine on site. The attendant was extremely thorough and kept things clean."

"The machines are clean, and it gets the job done, but the dryer took an hour to dry my small load of laundry, other places only took 30. I want to say it was $6 for thw washer... very expensive in my experience... It was like a daycare in there. Probably four families each with 2 to 4 kids they were hardly watching. First the kids weren't letting me get to the dryer, then one of them kept pushing my dryer door closed while I was in it trying to take the laudry out. I understand that is was hot out, and having children is a hardship unimaginable to me, but letting a pair of parent in with their 4 kids to go wild shouldn't me normal, when one of them could have watched them at home, or in the car. This place is so small it is already difficult to navigate, without screaming children. There was also a woman directly in front of the door smoking a bowl of weed. The whole experience was fine, but tedious and long."
